Even fewer schools have multiple players who receive offers. But one high school in Virginia really hit the lottery, courtesy of the Penn State Nittany Lions. In an interview with Lions247, Stonewall Jackson High School teammates Shawn Murphy and Tyleik Williams revealed that they received offers from Penn State at the same time.Murphy is a 2022 inside linebacker while Williams is a 2022 defensive end. From 247Sports:“It was crazy,” Williams, a sophomore, told Lions247. “It was like back to back.”Per the report, Penn State is the first Power Five conference school from outside the state of Virginia to offer either player a scholarship. Virginia has made scholarship offers to both already, while Murphy already has a Virginia Tech offer as well.
